my cat is getting really old because he was such an asshole all his life and now he is so NICE and yesterday he purred loudly for the first time ever!! i mean he’s purred before but it’s always so quiet that you have to put your head against him to hear it, and if you get too affectionate he’ll leave.

but lately he’s been really sweet and licking me and not even digging his claws into my arm when i pet him!! it only took 12 years for him to mellow out i’m so proud of him.
this is him his name is kirby he is my baby
